ZPoint is the often used and reliable shopfloor management system from AMS Engineering, which is, in cooperation with the analysis software LTA, the standard solution for efficient production on high-intensity machines.
The functionality of ZPoint covers, for example, the administration of orders and shifts, the possibility of allocating standstills and operating statuses, alarm diagnosis and maintenance support.
ZPoint is a central operating station for machines, which informs the operating personnel about the current state of the machine and the process which is running on the machine, and which offers a certain control functionality. Because of the integrated diagnosis functionality, the locating and solving of any appearing hardware failures in the machine is simplified and therefore sped up, which helps to reduce expensive standstill times.
ZPoint also serves as a connection between the process level and the planing level at the production. Over the database interface, for example, order data from ERP systems can be taken over and product, production and machine data can be provided for other systems, for example, the AMS analysis software LTA.
ZPoint also provides data, so that, for example, a clock time analysis can be carried out, on account of which signs of wear of the machine can be detected very early and can be corrected preventively, resp. optimization potential for an increase in efficiency can be detected.
