ZPointCS audio: Acoustic Operator Information System
Use of the Program
ZPointCS audio is a part of the extensive machine operating concept of ZPointCS and enables the operator to react very fast on malfunctions of the machine through speech-based error output.
ZPointCS audio works similar to the travel news function of your car radio.
Because of this, the operator of the assembly machine can turn to other tasks (e.g. quality control, part supply,…), without having to look permanently after the machine or cause standstills.
Therefore, the machine becomes a "bringing system" and contributes essentially to the reduction of down times.

Function Range
- Output of speech-based standstill messages
- Output of speech-based alarm messages
- Music output while the machine is producing and is not sending any messages
- Output of messages of several machines over one pair of headphones
- Online language switching (German and English, further languages on customer demand)
- User interface over the ZPointCS client on any operating stations of the machine
- Various filter options (single modules, various alarms,…)
- Simultaneous output of different languages or messages (as long as several sound cards and radio transmitters are installed)
What's new about the ZPointCS audio compared to its predecessor BEIN
- Several machines are simultaneously possible
- Parallel output of standstill messages of single modules/basic systems possible (important for loosely linked systems)
- Several output channels with different information (e.g. for machine operators and conversion personnel)
- Easier operation and configuration
- Optimized configuration possibilities for volume, ...
- Improved interface to the shopfloor management system (over CS architecture from ZPointCS)
